Bricon carried out the CHUM hospital’s emergency building excavation. The complexity of this project consisted of excavating in a restricted space while ensuring vibration control in order to avoid damaging the St-Luc hospital center which was near our project. Because of their expertise and specialized equipment, our team rose to the challenge and dug more than 30 meters deep in certain places. Equipment was tremendously deployed to carry out this 89,000 excavation in stages in accordance with the stipulated standards and deadlines. We’re proud to have diligently and effectively worked on building this emergency unit.
Autoroute 35 project

Autoroute 35 project

Project manager: Judith Aubry, ing.

Bricon worked on building the culvert on autoroute 35, located on the boundary between Saint-Jean-sur-le-Richelieu and Iberville. The company was commissioned by the Quebec Ministry of Transportation to remove the old culvert and replace it with a prefabricated culvert.  Our team also collaborated on designing the project in order to use an arched product that was more than 12 meters wide and 76 meters long. As of now, it is the current culvert on the market on a larger scale. We’re proud to have completed this project while respecting the deadlines without exceeding the budget.
Route 116 project

Route 116 project

Project manager: Jonathan Veilleux, ing., M. ing.

Bricon is the general contractor responsible for constructing the lane reserved for public transportation on Route 116. This large-scale project lasted two years and is divided into 4 km in the east-west direction. The project consists of expanding the traffic routes at the required places. We have to redo the borders and pavement in order to expand and establish the traffic routes. As the project manager, Bricon and their team handle coordinating different trades in order to complete all the tasks while respecting the stipulated budget and deadlines. Therefore, as committed partners, we made good use of our expertise in order to find the best solutions to optimize quality and output at the construction site.
